milwaukee milwaukee
So Thursday I am officially ending back to my favorite state of cheese and beer!! (just for the weekend of course) But I couldn’t be happier. I miss all of my friends so much its painful not seeing them…especially my group of five girls. And my family too….I talked to my mom for an hour yesterday! about everything…boys, partying, the celine dion concert she went to, everything. I even miss my brothers. Hah even though they only make fun of me but I’ve grown to love it. And what greater time to return to Milwaukee then the weekend the Brewers are in the playoffs?? So basically I’m stoked, and I better get tickers. I just signed up for the lottery so hopefully I’ll have a pretty good chance. And if not, I’ll just tailgate anyways! So basically its a win-win situation. Ohh how I love my Brewcrew. And besides the glory of the Brewers making the playoffs for the first time in 26 years (sorry I just had to brag a little bit), I get to stay with my bestest friend ever at UWM. I’ve known her since kindergarten and she’s seriously like my sister. And then ALL my friends are coming home too…from Madison, Minnesota, LaCrosse, and Whitewater, so we are going to party it up at our favorite place ever…the eastside. We have had so many crazy and fun nights on the eastside it is insane. From bikes being thrown into car windows, to meeting random 28 year olds on the street (need I say more, creepy!), to just running around the streets and going into random college kids houses…it’s seriously the most fun and most free place to be in Milwaukee. You have absolutely no limitations…anything can be done. (Well certainly in reason of course, that’s just the feeling that comes out of it.) But the eastside is the best, especially since I feel a great loyalty to the area, I mean the memories are countless. But overall I love Milwaukee to death. I never even realized how much I really loved the city I grew up in until I moved away from it. I mean Chicago is amazing, but nothing can take away the pride and love you have for your hometown, where you spent your years of growing-up. So Milwaukee, I’m coming back early Thursday morning…are you ready for me? :)
